For those who have never attended, the European SharePoint Conference (www.sharepointeurope.com) is the largest non-Microsoft event on the European continent that is focused solely on SharePoint and Office 365. The event is held in a different European country each year, with past events in Berlin, Copenhagen, Barcelona, and Stockholm -- and this year it will be held in Vienna, Austria from November 14th through 17th. With our strong customer base in the region, and the quality of the partner and customer opportunities, the Beezy team have stepped up our participation in the event with a Platinum sponsorship. Additionally, Beezy has once again been recognized as a finalist for the European SharePoint Conference (ESPC) Community Awards -- but this year for two awards: Most Innovative Cloud Solution, and Best Intranet/Extranet Solution.
As we shared in a press release this week (PRWeb), the Community Awards are some of the most prestigious awards voted for by the SharePoint and Office 365 Community, recognizing outstanding SharePoint and Office 365 products, solutions, contributions and projects. As some of you may recall, Beezy was recognized at the November 2015 ESPC event in Stockholm, earning the award for Best Office 365 Solution.
Since the event last year, the Beezy team has launched a number of new features and deeper integrations into the Microsoft platform, and have proudly added a number of enterprise customers representing some of the largest SharePoint on-premises and Office 365 deployments in the world. And with Microsoft folding their SharePoint Conference into their annual Ignite event last, ESPC becomes especially important with its focus entirely on the SharePoint community.
"Being recognized for these Community Awards means a great deal to the Beezy team, coming from a combination of industry experts and influencers, votes from community members across Europe, and the many speakers and attendees who come from around the world." ~Jordi Plana, Beezy CEO
The ESPC awards are called "Community Awards" for a reason -- while the ESPC leadership team organizes the conference itself, a community Program Team selects the speakers, the conference agenda, and the community award finalists. The Program Team consists of a Microsoft Program Chair and an Industry expert Co-Program Chair, as well as a team of evangelists and thought leaders from across the SharePoint and Office 365 ecosystem. It was this team that selected Beezy for these two awards.
And now it is up to the community to vote. Voting remains open through Friday, October 14th at 5:00pm CEST (8:00am PDT), with the winners to be announced on November 16th at the Community Awards dinner and reception to be held at the Vienna Hofburg Imperial Palace.
If you have not yet voted, the Beezy team would appreciate your support:
I have always enjoyed this event, and feel blessed to have been able to present at each of them since Berlin in 2011, with keynote presentations in Barcelona (with Microsoft's Mark Kashman) and Copenhagen (with Microsoft's Dan Holme). This year I will once again take the center stage as a keynote speaker, joined by fellow MVP Benjamin Niaulin (Sharegate) on Wednesday morning. Also presenting a session this year will be our own Maximo Castagno (Beezy's Chief Product Officer) and Christian Ruiz (Mobility Lead), who will talk about how to better leverage the Microsoft Graph to add automation and intelligence to your SharePoint environment. It's going to be a jam-packed schedule!
The Beezy team is looking forward to this event -- and if you plan to attend, please be sure to stop by the Beezy booth (#19) and say hello, or stay and see a quick demo of our latest release. If you do not yet have a ticket, Beezy is giving away a fully-paid ESPC pass to three lucky winners. Register here for the prize draw, and maybe we'll see you in Vienna!
