In modern day business we all work in a digital workplace in one way, shape or form. But what makes an intelligent workplace? And more importantly what makes it successful? More and more companies are beginning to realise that employees are their greatest asset.
Sam Marshall is the owner of ClearBox Consulting and has specialised in intranets and the digital workplace for over 18 years, working with companies such as AstraZeneca, Vodafone, TUI Travel, and Sony. His current activities focus on intranet and digital workplace strategy, the business side of SharePoint, and the use of social tools for collaboration and internal communication.
Larraine Solomon is the Vice President of Internal Communications, Employee Engagement and Change at Monster, a global leader in connecting people to jobs. She is also the Managing Director of Inspiring Conversations, a delivery focussed communication and engagement consultancy. With over 20 years’ experience leading communication functions in large complex organisations, she specialises in helping business leaders and employees across the globe to connect with each other, develop meaningful dialogue and achieve significantly better business results.

Gonzalo Marcos is a technical evangelist at Nintex, subject matter expert on process automation and mobility. Born and raised in Spain, he has lived and worked in Canada, Italy, Spain and UK. Now, based in London, he is responsible of the Technical enablement of the Nintex partners in EMEA. As an evangelist, Gonzalo regularly speaks at international conferences and is involved as a thought leader in online communities.
Alex Franklin is Lead Consultant at Core Technology Systems (UK) Ltd, with 20 years’ experience in architecting collaborative solutions including intranets/extranets, document management platforms, knowledge management platforms and process automation applications. Alex is passionate about collaboration, and the “people” side of technology. He has worked with customers to design, build and adopt solutions in sectors such as Insurance, Finance, Media, Education, Local and Central Government and various charities.
Christoph Smaltz is a consultant and project leader from Germany with more than 10 years of experience in social technologies. He is passionate about how companies can become more networked, agile and innovative organisations. Most recently he served as Head of Digital Transformation at Zeppelin Holding in Germany responsible for implementing a digital workplace and helping its employees and the organisation to become more digital. Before that he was an independent consultant after having been with Headshift, a UK based social business consultancy in London for five years.
